이 영화를 이대로 끝내고 말기에는 아직 풀리지 않은 숙제가 많다. 강아지”남자”는 왜 그렇게 빨간 원피스에 집착했는지 죠엘과 잠시라도 깊은 밤의 여운을 즐긴 로봇 메이 비스와의 인연은 어디서부터 시작됐는지, 그리고 향후 죠엘과 에이미가 만나는 세상은 어떤지 등 후속 편이 꼭 나왔으면 좋겠다. 영화”메이즈·주자”시리즈에서 강한 인상을 남긴 배우 딜런, 오브라이언은 역시”메이즈·주자”뿐만 아니라 모험과 스릴 넘치는 영화에 아주 잘 어울린다. 영화 속 주인공들이 처한 상황은 그들이 다시 평범했던 일상으로 돌아가지 못하고 목숨을 담보로 세상에 감내해야 할 시간이 있지만, 영화를 보는 관객인 나로서는 이 지루하고 매너리즘에 빠질 것 같은 현실에서 조금이라도 벗어나지 못할 고마운 영화였다.There are still many unsolved tasks to finish this film as it is.
